Linda Edna Cardellini's parents are businessman Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). They were born in Redwood City in California. She is of Italian (from her paternal grandpa), Irish (from her mother), German, English and Scottish heritage. Lily James, born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson in 1989 (born April 5th), is an English actor. She was trained at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and began her acting career in the British TV show Just William (2010). Following her breakout performance as Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey from 2012-2015 her debut role was on the film of the same name, Cinderella in 2015. James was then cast as the Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. She has also starred in numerous films such as Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018. She also appeared in The Dig 2021, as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). In 2022, her character as Pamela Anderson was recognized with an Golden Globe nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award.
