Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently affiliated with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor on CNBC's shows 'Squawkon on the Street', and Closing Bell'. As an Ohio native and a native of Ohio, she wasn't too interested in the markets and currencies during her time in college. She was an intern at ForexTV.com as a student at New York University. She gained her first experience with business news through this job. After that, she received an master's degree in broadcasting at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She completed a four-month stint with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. When she returned to the US and began to work at Bloomberg's office in New York. She later became a TV anchor. CNBC appointed her in December 2013 to be an anchor. Before being hired at 'Closing Bell the show, she was co-anchor on 'Worldwide exchange' and 'Power Lunch'. Eisen is co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since 2014. A well-known business journalists in the world Her primary focus has been on global consumer news since she joined CNBC.
